Between 20, I absorbed part of my partner’s wardrobe which led me to obtain a surge of Angelic Pretty. The top four brands of my closet are Alice and the Pirates, Moi meme Moitie, Na+H, Atelier Boz. My closet is at maximum capacity, so there isn’t much more room for main pieces. Since my last wardrobe post in 2019, I buy more accessories now rather than main pieces. Lolita fashion is filled with dessert prints, so I do fall into temptation every once in awhile. As you may know, I’m also a food blogger with a penchant for desserts. My closet is not 100% gothic though since I’ve always had a soft spot for the sweet side of kawaii fashion. If I had to describe my closet in one phrase, it would be “a goth weeb with a sweet tooth.” On a day-to-day basis, I wear mix of casual goth and otaku fashion. My wardrobe mainly consists of ouji and gothic lolita fashion though this year I decided to include some casual pieces from Japanese brands. Whether you have a big or small wardrobe, it’s a great way to show appreciation for and preserve lolita fashion. If you just want to flex, that’s alright, too. It’s also a way to share how clothing looks outside of stock photos. Wardrobe posts are a good way to benchmark your lolita fashion journey. Traditionally, wardrobe posts should be shared in January of each year.
